I am:  An interior designer, TV personality, creative thinker, jet setter, animal lover.

I love: Tulips, stargazer lilies, peonies. Tea (the most beautiful way to begin my days!). Gold jewelry. The smell of rain. Baths. My garden. Star, my trusty 6-year-old Golden Retriever. The ocean. Experiences, like eating cinnamon tiramisu while drinking pear almond tea at the Louvre. Prague's architecture and Africa's plains -- hands down, an odyssey of a lifetime. Historical fiction. Burning candles.

Beauty is: Natural but refined. Compassionate, present and inspiring.

I collect: Fine china, design books, perfumes.

My guilty pleasure: Creme Brule with strawberries and a juicy US Weekly magazine!

I am fascinated by: People who are in touch, present, and aware. Traveling, and animal behavior. Interesting color compositions, textures you want to touch and art that stops you in your tracks and moves you.

My cause: Animals. I grew up on a ranch and volunteering for Bird Rescue and Sonoma Wildlife Rescue, so we always had some hurt animal rehabilitating in our house--a mole, a blue jay, a jackrabbit... Nowadays part of my proceeds are donated to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, which is dedicated to protecting our marine animals across the globe.

My Muse: Traveling. Mixing up my life with the world. Seeing something for the first time. It's an intoxicating mix. New smells, people, cultures, vulnerability, wonder.

My Design Style: Environments free from pretension and stuffy overtures. Always inspired by the relaxed California lifestyle I like exuding boastful texture, colors, clean lines and seductive compositions.
